Nuff is an eight-year-old boy who is in second grade. Like most young kids his age those magic words of manners of his “Please & Thank You” are usually far a few between. He usually just grabs things and takes them without thinking twice. And rarely does he ask or show appreciation to those who help him.

Nuff struggles to understand why having perfect manners is important. His parents always tell him to use the magic words, but never explain why and because of that he does not understand their importance and tends not to use them. Even his little sister remembers to say “Pees” and “Tanks.”

To see what happens, Nuff stops using the magic words of manners “Please & Thank You.” Soon he finds out that things do not go his way. In fact, it does not take long for things to go from bad to worse. After a little self-realization Nuff figures out that “Please & Thank You” are important words to live by. Before long Nuff decides to show everyone in the family how being polite goes along way and how a simple “Please & Thank You” can get you anything you want. Well within reason, of course.
